On October 25th, Metro Machinery Co., Ltd. (Metro CAT) held its landmark event, “The Next Century”. We were honored to have Khun Veera Burapachaisri preside over the ceremony. The event commemorated three special milestones that fill us with immense pride:
1. Caterpillar’s 100th Anniversary, celebrating the global leader in heavy machinery and engines.
2. Metro Machinery Co., Ltd.’s 50th Anniversary, marking half a century in the business.
3. Khun Tongsai Burapachaisri’s 92nd Birthday.
The event featured diverse activities, sharing stories of success and innovation in the heavy machinery and energy sectors. Highlights included a historical exhibition showcasing Metro CAT's long journey with Caterpillar, a partnership that has fueled the growth of Thai industry for decades, seminars, and an open house tour of our repair center, parts warehouse, and service center. We also featured a complete showcase of high-quality machinery, engines, and genuine parts from Caterpillar.
We are deeply grateful for the warm reception from our many valued customers and business partners who honored us with their presence.
A Moment of Solemn Tribute. The evening culminated in a warm reception for our guests. Before the formal proceedings began, all attendees came together to pay their respects to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, by observing a moment of silence in solemn tribute.
